To all the naysayers who said there could never be a gay James Bond, the ceiling has been officially busted through.
By ‘officially’ we of course mean ‘unofficially,’ but that doesn’t make this brilliantly well-executed recut of a James Bond/Jason Bourne clandestine love affair any less satisfying to imagine.

      I suppose it could happen, but Hollywood would make sure the movie ended tragically. Either Bond would die of AIDS or Bourne would be brutally beaten to death by a gang of homophobes.

      I’m tired of homosexuality being made ironic like this. We’re supposed to be like “Whaaaaaat?! No way! Jason Bourne and Bond are so straight. LOL!” as if them being gay would mean they’d be in some cheesy, sentimental comedy. What if this were an ad for Bond sharing an interracial romance? It wouldn’t be funny then. Why should it be funny if they’re gay? Why can’t characters similar to Bond or Bourne be gay? And, god forbid, played by gay men?
