The greatest threat to parliamentary democracy in Msia today is PM njb & the head of the national police force that he controls Khld Abu Bkr.

It is Njb & Khld who should be investigated for violating section 124B of the Penal Code.

Njb wants to stay in power no matter what & Khld has been chosen to serve him. Khld is ready to do njb's bidding & deploy police force in willful violation of the law & the fundamental guarantees of Msia's constitution.

In Msia today , those who seek democracy & called the enemies of democracy.
Meanwhile, those who are really the enemies of democracy are the people who close newspapers, charge opposition politicians with sedition , round up the leaders of peaceful protests & arrest government officials who are investigating corruption at the highest level - call themselves "patriots" of the nation & defenders of parliamentary democracy.

Msia has now become a 'police state' , one should not use words like 'police state' carelessly.

A 'police state' is when police power is used to suppress any action that opposes the government, & to suppress any person who dares to criticize the government.

Njb is turning Msia into an authoritarian government & a police state. And Khld is his willing accomplice .

Because of njb's actions, Msia can no longer claim to be a democracy.

Democracy means freedom of speech, freedom of press & freedom of assembly. It means that there are checks & balances - that the judiciary, the press, the parliament & so on , can comment & criticize what the government is doing - but today in Msia none of these exist.

There is no check on njb's power , there is no institution that can balance njb's power, especially when the police are so ready to arrest anyone who dares to criticize njb including government officials who are investigating the many allegations of corruption against njb & his wife.

Tun M already destroyed most of Msia's checks & balances against the abuse of power ;   & njb has now finished it off for good.

Msia's elder statesmen Ab.badawi , tngku Rzali hmzh, musa hitam & so on are curiously silent.  They claim that they care about Msia & its people yet they do nothing about njb's abuses.

Only tun M has spoken out. But tun M is the man who corrupted the entire system that njb has used to his advantage . And now even tun M has become silent.

Where are the sultans ? They also are supposed to be the defenders of the nation. Yet we only know, indirectly, the views of the Sultn of Johor & his son. The others are silent as njb destroys Msia's future , a great country they pledged to defend.

The stock market tumbles , the ringgit falls to its lowest point in almost 20 years. Msia's bank reserves have  dropped by over US$40 billion in just one year. It is the worst situation in Msia's economy in 20 years.

But njb doesn't care. His personal survival is more important than his country's economic fate. As things now stand it is only going to get worse - when one man is able to undermine the institutions of government & prevent the will of a great majority of the Msian people - from former leaders to the man in the street.
