EPC’s editors and panel of experts determine the top power products based on criteria that includes a significant advancement in a technology or its application, innovative design, and substantial achievement in price/performance.
IR’s new digital controllers meet Intel VR12 and VR12.5 specifications, and support multiphase designs from 1 to 8 phases operating 1 to 2 loops. These digital controllers can be used in combination with a choice of seven PowIRstage® products to deliver an optimized high-performance end-to-end multiphase solution for CPU and DDR memory applications.
These latest generation CHiL® controllers offer enhanced features over the previous generation including significant expansion in the PMBus™ command set, substantial reduction in quiescent current to enable higher peak efficiency, min/max telemetry recording and an improved high-speed phase balance algorithm. More information about the new digital power solution is available on the International Rectifier website.
“We are delighted to receive this prestigious award for our CHiL® Digital Controllers and integrated PowIRstage® solution from Electronic Products China. This new solution not only delivers the benchmark performance and density that our customers require, the system increases flexibility and control of the power system by leveraging an expanded PMBus command set,” said Adam White, Senior Vice President, Global Sales.
